Richard is the founder of Tidwell Agency, Inc. He started his career in the insurance business as a field representative for Seibels Bruce Insurance. Later he went to work for Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina. He worked there for 11 years, leaving as the Senior Vice President of Companion Life. He purchased a small agency in Batesburg-Leesville, SC, to start Tidwell Agency in 1981. He still lives in the Batesburg-Leesville community.

I grew up in Batesburg-Leesville where our original office was located and graduated from Furman University with a BA in Accounting in 1991 and then started my insurance career. I have obtained my CPCU and CIC insurance designations and continue to put a high emphasis on furthering my education in this business. I served on the board of directors for the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers Association of South Carolina and was the chairperson of the education committee. I currently serve on the continuing education committee for the Department of Insurance and as treasurer for the  Professional Insurance Agents of South Carolina.

I live in Lexington with my wife Robin and have 3 adult children in Greenville, SC, Nashville, TN, and Washington DC.

Cindy was raised in Batesburg-Leesville, SC. She began her career in the insurance industry in 2000. She is licensed in both Property/Casualty and Life/Accident/Health. She considers it a blessing to be able to work alongside her dad and brother daily. Cindy has 2 amazing children, 5 wonderful bonus children and 6 precious grandchildren. She is happily married to her husband and best friend, Jeff. They reside in Graniteville, SC.

Jack Holladay has been a Commercial Lines agent with the Tidwell Agency since 2004 and currently works as a Senior Account Executive. He is licensed in both Property/Casualty and Life/Accident/Health, and he holds a South Carolina Surplus Lines Broker license. Jack completed his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2012. He has earned Bachelor degrees from both Francis Marion University and the University of South Carolina and a Master’s degree from the University of South Carolina.

Jack is also a talented musician who works part time playing and directing music for a local church. He enjoys studying and teaching the Scriptures, mentoring young people, following sports and working out. Jack and his wife, Brooke, live in the Lexington area.

Frances started with Tidwell Agency in August of 2019. She is a personal lines account manager. She resides with her husband in Gilbert, SC.

I was born and raised in Columbia, SC and have been in the insurance industry since 1995. My husband and I live near Irmo and attend Union UMC. We’ve been married 48 years; have two sons and two granddaughters.

Deborah started her insurance career with the Tidwell Agency in 2006 as a customer service representative licensed in Property/Casualty with an emphasis in Commercial Lines coverage. She has earned designations as Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) and Associate in Insurance Account Management (AIAM). She loves to spend time with her four children and five grandchildren as well as traveling. So far she has managed to visit 31 states and 6 countries! Born and raised in Columbia, SC, she attended Columbia College and currently resides in Lexington, SC.

Carly started with Tidwell Agency in 2022. She is a personal lines CSR. She lives with her husband and two kids in Batesburg-Leesville, SC.

I am very excited to have joined Tidwell Agency as a personal and commercial lines agent. My husband and I are blessed with two wonderful grown children. In our free time we enjoy spending time with family and friends, boating on Lake Murray and in the beautiful Low Country, and being a part of our amazing church family at Radius Lexington.

Adam lives in the small town of Blair, SC with his beautiful wife, Chanie and his dog Archie. He loves eating good food and playing games with family and friends.

Shauna has over 12 years insurance experience.   She completed a 100-hour commercial training course to earn the accredited Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist title.  She specializes in helping her clients protect their assets from the unknown and unexpected.  She sits down with her clients to customize their insurance profile based on their specific insurance needs.  She understands the importance of providing effective insurance guidance and is committed to keeping communication open throughout the year in case any changes need to be made to your Insurance Program. What sets her apart from other agents is her ability to listen to her client's needs.  When you choose Shauna as your agent you will have a personal relationship with her and not considered just a "number".  When Shauna is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her daughter at cheer competitions, going to concerts, traveling and playing soccer on an amateur adult league.
